About The Job
Responsible to conduct the technical matching of our product range based on customer requirements and expectations and manage the overall support towards our execution organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide direct technical support to customers, as well as the sales and service team on specific Alfa Laval applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of design calculations, technical specifications, and collection of other relevant documentation
- Clarification and specification of customer system operation philosophy based on individual requirements
- Preparation of design calculations, technical specifications, and collection of other relevant documentation
- Support the Sales team across the region for Food & Water equipment, Business Units and be true business partners and Sales enablers.
- Directly support and be the key technical partner for customers, making visits, meetings and interactions with customers focusing on product presentations to offer a customized and willing value proposition.
- Cluster trainer for a specific product and application:
- Define and delivery cluster training programs for the employees, channels and customers.
- Coordinate closely with order handling teams regionally to ensure gross margin maintenance and improvement from order receipt through close of execution.
- Be a visible technical expert both online and in real life talking about our applications in industry and promoting the Alfa Laval brand with our customers.
- General support in other matters and with an interest in control systems.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of working experience with solid technical background in food & beverage industry
- Good communication skills, proactive, service minded, strong in customer care and take quick actions
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop professionally
