The Business Finance curriculum taught by the Finance Division of SEF rests on two core pillars, namely Investments and Corporate Finance. Applicants in the field of specialization in Investments and/or Corporate Finance should apply. Applicants with teaching and/or research experience in Fintech will have an added advantage.

Requirements: The successful applicant will be expected to actively participate in the following: • Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Investments and/or Corporate Finance • Research • Supervision of postgraduate students • Administration and academic citizenship activities Minimum qualifications: Applicants for the position of Associate Professor should meet the following qualification requirements: • PhD degree in the field of Finance • An established track record of high-quality publications consistent with appointment at the level of Associate Professor • Successful teaching and supervision of postgraduate students. Successful supervision of PhDs will be an added advantage • Contribution to administration and academic citizenship activities • Evidence of leadership and recognition in the local/international academic community.
