For our office in Istanbul, we are currently looking to hire a team player for;
Trading & Origination
Statkraft’s Trading&Origination team conclude mostly standard, but customer focused transactions in wholesale energy markets. The team cooperates closely with Statkraft’s head office and customer business units. The role, to be based in İstanbul includes but is not limited to:
- Performing 3rd party renewable asset origination and commercial services for renewable assets while identifying, structuring and negotiating profitable business opportunities
- Following commercial and regulatory developments in the market and proposing necessary improvements
- Following-up of internal/external customer needs and offering innovative solutions proactively
- Engaging in day to day operations with local and international teams and departments
- Developing profitable new business lines along Statkraft’s strategic goals and local market structure.
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Engineering, Business or Economy)
- 2-3 years of experience in an energy company
- Strong analytical skills, commercial mindset and negotiation capabilities
- Strong fundamental understanding of the Turkish Energy Market
- Creative, curious and motivated team player
- Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets and schedules
- Good communication and reporting skills in English, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- High level of personal integrity.
